Jeannie Pilapil
Jeannie Pilapil, Founder and President of Transitions Executive Search, Inc., is a graduate of Saint Paul’s University, Philippines, with a Bachelor’s degree in Foods & Nutrition. Her many and varied experiences in the field of business as Sales Manager of Hyatt Regency Manila and Sales Director of Puerto Azul Beach Hotel led her to the exciting and challenging environment of the hotel industry.
Jeannie honed her management and organizational skills further by becoming a part of the start-up operations of EUROMED Laboratories, Inc. as its Vice President for Distribution. Her main responsibility was to set up offices nationwide as the newly formed company grew and the demand for its products increased.
From 1999 to 2005, she ventured into media and events management. She worked as an International Correspondent while residing in Vancouver and later became the Segment Producer of the hit show, The OFW Hour, broadcasted on RPN TV 9 in the Philippines and Shaw Multicultural Channel in Western Canada.
In 2005, she became the Executive Producer for the first season of the popular show “Chefs on the Go” which aired on ABS-CBN, Studio 23, in the Philippines. In addition, she was the Executive Producer and Project Director of “Kumustahan Worldwide Concert Tour 2006″ presented in various places across Europe and the Middle East.
Towards the end of 2006, Jeannie joined the team of HSPI (Hospitality Staff Phils., Inc.) in the Philippines as Vice President for Operations where she gained invaluable knowledge in international talent sourcing. In August, 2007, she became HSPI’s Consultant specializing in executive search for the hospitality industry. Her responsibility included networking and expanding the database with the task of matching the most suitable applicant to the job opening.
In August 2008, Jeannie incorporated Transitions Executive Search, Inc. with intrepid and reputable executives in the industry. The company was launched as a boutique executive search firm specializing in the hospitality industry (hotels and resorts), and later expanded its services to other verticals such as banks, oil & renewable energy, manufacturing, schools, BPOs, and more.
Under her stewardship, the organization has automated its business practice by engaging Vincere as its new technology provider. Her professional philosophy ensures that while Transitions has moved its business process online, its inherent values still remain the same: that Transitions’ sourcing and screening of candidates will continue to be user-friendly, efficient, and effective and that the highly personalized touch and fundamental relationship building with clients and candidates will always be at the core of its headhunting business. In between her busy schedule, Jeannie devotes her free time to various Non Profit organizations.
