Mario “Jun” A. Mayo Jr. graduated from the University of the Philippines with a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences major in History, minor in Political Science, and cognate in Sociology. He completed his Master’s degree in industrial relations from the University of the Philippines and basic Managerial Process Course from the Asian Institute of Management.

Mario has four (4) decades of experience in various industries – Human Resources, Manufacturing Operations, and Consulting. His early experience, especially in managerial positions, was with the Makati Development Corp., Ayala Corporation, and Ayala International Borneo, Ltd.

On a more senior level, Mario joined Phinma Group Bacnotan Cement Corporation, Inc., Bacnotan Steel Corporation and Bacnotan Marketing Corporation as Personnel Management Consultant and Corporate Personnel Director, respectively.

Thereafter, Mario headed the HR of Integrated Microelectronics, Inc. and eventually moved to First Philippine Electronics Corporation (First Philec), as concurrent Vice President for Enterprise & Corporate Human Resources and Vice President for the Human Resources Division of First Philec Solar Corporation. In addition, Mario took on consultancy projects leading the HR services of Electronics Manufacturing Services Group of Companies, the Third Generation Services, Inc., Alternative Network Resources Unlimited Multi – Purpose Cooperative which deploys its members to clients nationwide.

Currently, Mario is an OD Partner of Transitions Executive Search, Inc.
